Submissions open at 9 am in the Coding Hub

Hi there,
Today is the day! Head to the Coding Hub within Innovators Hive to check in for the hackathon (at least one teammate MUST check in to reserve a spot to demo your project for the judges). Spots are limited, so hurry over! Once you’re there, team up and start building your Project. We estimate a Project will take you less than 90 minutes between ideating, building and submitting. You’ll also need to return to the Coding Hub to demo your project for the judges from 1:30 - 2:30 pm. Winners will be announced around 3:30 pm on the Hackathon Site and in the Coding Hub within Innovators Hive in person. Good luck and we can’t wait to check out your Project!
What to Build
Come up with an idea for a generative agent. You must provide an overview of what the agent will do and for whom it will be useful. Start a generative app in Vertex AI Agent Builder and construct the Goal and Instructions for your agent by creating a (1) playbook.
What to Submit
- Text description that includes a summary of your Generative Agent idea (at least 1 paragraph)
- Overview of why this Agent would be useful and to whom (at least 1 paragraph)
- Summary of Additional Requirements: any data, APIs, functions, etc. requirements you expect they would need to build out a full featured application for this agent
- Screenshot(s) of the Goal and Instructions fields from Vertex AI Agent Builder playbook you would use to begin building out this agent
- At least one member of the team must be physically present in the Coding Hub within Innovators Hive to demo the Project to judges during the Judging Period (1:30 - 2:30 pm). Presentations must include a summary of points 1-4 above. In person demos should be no more than 2 minutes. Projects with no demonstration will only be eligible to win Participation Prizes.
Good luck!
